Eilish got inspiration for the song a year prior, when she had a dream about taking her own life. When she took the idea to her brother, he became uncomfortable with the worrying topic. But it was me admitting to something that was very serious about my depression. A very serious step that I was admitting that I was planning on taking. Finneas, who was also present during the interview, gave his perspective on the troubling situation. We have to go through this in real life. The article also touched on Eilish's longtime depression, which sparked when she ruptured the growth plate in her hip and was forced to quit dancing, an activity she wholeheartedly enjoyed. When she achieved fame, she felt a bit ill-equipped to deal with the negative sides of it. When the sibling duo revisited "everything i wanted" a year later, Eilish approached it with a different perspective. Read the full piece here , and listen to "everything i wanted" below.
Trigger warning: This post contains mentions of suicide. You may not have noticed, but Billie frequently sings about her connection to her dreams. In an interview with The Fader , Billie explained the role that her dreams play in her life. In the lyrics, Finneas reassures Billie that he'll always be there for her and will support her no matter what. The second verse references Billie's nightmare about dying but then begins to focus on the pressure she feels when it comes to fame, primarily with keeping her fans happy and never wanting to let them down.

We might not always like the way some priesthood holders act, but to disparage the priesthood is not being responsible. I was born and raised in the LDS faith. Mormon women are more likely to date outside of the religion than men, but also very unlikely to convert to a different religion.
