Los Bandoleros [note 2] is a short film, directed by Vin Diesel and written by Diesel with co-writer and executive producer, TJ Mancini. Han Seoul-Oh arrives in Dominican Republic in time to reunite with his friend Dominic Toretto , who plans to break an associate of his Tego Leo out of prison. During the orchestration of a score involving the theft of gas from oil tankers, Dominic is reunited with his girlfriend, Letty Ortiz , who has been searching for him since he left Los Angeles after that occurred five years ago in Los Angeles. Tego Leo is in a prison of the Dominican Republic, ranting about corporations holding back the electric car and starting wars for oil, while, on the streets, Rico Santos chats to an old man unable to find enough gas. They drive him back to Santos' house, where his aunt Rubia is struggling with rising prices linked to the cost of gasoline and Dominic Toretto is working on his car. The team then enjoy a welcome meal with the family. After breaking Leo out of prison, they head to a club, where Han and Cara flirt, while Dominic meets up with local politician, Elvis , who informs them of a window of opportunity to hijack a gasoline shipment.

It reframes the job as a Robin Hood-esque caper, in which Dom and his buds steal the gas to give to people they know who desperately need the fuel. There are actually two others bits that fill in story from the franchise. The "Fast and Furious" franchise kicked off in as little more than a movie about illegal street racing. But with eight movies and even a spinoff later, it's become one of the most lucrative franchises in Hollywood with some of the most impressive stunts seen on any screen.

They drive him back to Rico's house, where his aunt Rubia is struggling to keep up with her gas bills. Han goes outside to see Dominic Toretto working on his car, before they both go inside to enjoy a meal with the entire family. Dom discusses breaking Tego out of prison and stealing oil to support the family. Dom, Cara, and Han later head to a nightclub to meet with corrupt local politician Elvis, who is able to arrange for the robbery to take place on a highway the following morning.
