Rising South London producer Mom Tudie has been teasing his forthcoming EP with brilliantly crafted singles, his latest being no exception. After the success of his singles "Everything You Said" and "Isn't Right," a serendipitous connection forged on SoundCloud laid the framework for his latest single "Heavey," a collaboration with vocalist Caisey. Taken from Mom Tudie's forthcoming debut EP, High Ceilings , "Heavey" marks both his ability to spot raw talent in the abyss of SoundCloud and a highly important moment in the producer's career. The song does not oversell, immersing listeners in a laid-back and effortlessly delivered track. The deep groove in Mom Tudie's pop-minded production paired with Caisey's uninhibited vocals makes for a candid, train of thought - style track. Gettin' ready to put on a good show. This was the first time she stepped up to a real microphone, and she killed it. It felt like I had found some real hidden talent, so I'm really happy people get to hear this". Though this is just the beginning of an undoubtedly long career for Mom Tudie, his music is already turning heads for a reason. Industry Infiltration Festivals Album Reviews.

Chase Atlantic 's Mitchel Cave has revealed to Rock Sound that he plans to collab with the likes of Don Broco , Issues and Yungblud after he hit the road with them as part of Warped Tour earlier this summer. Mitchel is a guest on this week's Rock Sound Podcast and told us that he had already played around with his new friends in the studio while touring across the US:. It turned out to be a really busy tour but we did make the connections there. We made a bit of music with Yungblud. We went to do some writing with Don Broco, but we'll probably do it while we're in Los Angeles, you know what I mean? We had a lot of good friends who would come on the bus listening to some of our new music as well which is very exciting. It certainly is exciting! Fingers crossed we get to hear the results of those sessions very soon. You can hear our full interview with Mitchel, plus games with Deaf Havana and Trash Boat , on this week's Rock Sound Podcast , available now on Soundcloud, iTunes, Spotify or wherever you get your podcasts:.

Two hundred fifty years of slavery. Ninety years of Jim Crow. Sixty years of separate but equal. Thirty-five years of racist housing policy. Until we reckon with our compounding moral debts, America will never be whole. And if thy brother, a Hebrew man, or a Hebrew woman, be sold unto thee, and serve thee six years; then in the seventh year thou shalt let him go free from thee. And when thou sendest him out free from thee, thou shalt not let him go away empty: thou shalt furnish him liberally out of thy flock, and out of thy floor, and out of thy winepress: of that wherewith t he LORD thy God hath blessed thee thou shalt give unto him. And thou shalt remember that thou wast a bondman in the land of Egypt, and the LORD thy God redeemed thee: therefore I command thee this thing today. Besides the crime which consists in violating the law, and varying from the right rule of reason, whereby a man so far becomes degenerate, and declares himself to quit the principles of human nature, and to be a noxious creature, there is commonly injury done to some person or other, and some other man receives damage by his transgression: in which case he who hath received any damage, has, besides the right of punishment common to him with other men, a particular right to seek reparation. By our unpaid labor and suffering, we have earned the right to the soil, many times over and over, and now we are determined to have it.
Reva Devito and I have history. Not in real life but on Soundcloud which is almost real life but I digress. As I first became privy to the platform a few years ago, I was obsessed with finding every new song possible. It was like a whole new world of music. While my mind was moving faster than a Zach Galifinakis meme trying to process all this new music, I came across a cover of Sade's hit " Sweetest Taboo. After the Sade cover, she put out " Kisses " and then the Com Truise -produced " babesquad.
